WE ARE ZOI ERA

I founded Zoi Era after becoming a first-time mum, a life change that reshaped my understanding of the workplace. With 14 years of experience in the fashion retail industry, including 11 in leadership, I was well-versed in the corporate world. Yet, I was wholly unprepared for how little that world supports working mothers.

Motherhood introduced a slew of challenges I had never anticipated: losing control of my schedule and feeling a loss of identity. The sleep deprivation, the guilt of needing time off when my child was sick, and the stress of potentially missing nursery pick-ups due to train cancellations—it all added immense mental pressure.

These experiences are not unique to me; they are surprisingly common yet rarely addressed. Many women enter motherhood without an awareness of these challenges, and the support post-maternity leave is minimal, largely due to a lack of female leadership in many sectors.

Driven by these realizations, I decided to leave my secure and well-paying job to start anew. Zoi Era was born out of a desire to change not just for my own sake but for other women facing similar struggles. I aim to create a work environment that truly welcomes every woman, offering the flexibility that is so often needed but rarely provided.

At Zoi Era, we believe in making meaningful changes in people's lives over profits. We are dedicated to building a brand that supports our core mission: to empower women and provide them with the opportunities they deserve, helping them to thrive in all stages of life.
